Makes me think of a wishing well. She was a little coin thrown in an icy, heartless pit with great expectations on her shoulders, and her wishers leave as soon as she opens her eyes. How do those wishes feel after they are forgotten? The blues and blacks and whites bring out the dreamlike semireality of things that are only half real, and emulate the cold forbiding pit of a well. And wish girl uncurled herself and looked back at her leaving, already forgetful creator, and thinks..."What now?"
